Proposal submission

Proposals should be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The deadline for submission is 30 April 2024. Early submissions are welcome. We will confirm that your submission has been received within three days. 

You will be notified whether your proposal is accepted by 30 May 2024.   

Submission of your proposal will need to include:
•    title (10 words max)
•    abstract (150 words max)
•    extended summary (500 words max)

All submissions are to be made in track of the language for which they are intended (English or Russian). If you are competent in both languages, please consider to present your work in both languages.  

 

The following aspects are to be considered when submitting your proposal

  • All submissions should provide a clear definition of thinking as used in the proposal.
  • Submissions discussing thinking in particular curricular documents should attach the documents discussed or provide a link to them.
  • Lesson / session plans submitted for the discussion during the conference should include the following elements of the lesson / series of lessons: a) subject and age group taught; b) subject matter objectives; c) thinking objectives; d) task / tasks offered to learners; e) scaffolding procedures used by the teacher; f) learner outputs; g) evaluation and assessment; h) data on lesson plan implementation.
  • Workshop submissions should demonstrate how the development of learners' thinking will be addressed in the session and how the interaction with the audience will be organised.
